MEET DR. MICHAEL L. BURNELL MD
Specializing in Family Medicine, Hyperbaric Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Care. Burnell is currently serving as medical director for Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care.
Dr. Burnell practiced medicine in Marksville, La before coming to Opelousas. He is currently on staff at Opelousas General Hospital and Acadiana St. Landry Hospital in Church Point, La. He graduated from LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, La. Dr. Burnell has been in practice in Opelousas for 16 years.
Dr. Burnell is an avid outdoorsman, spending his free time with his wife and five children at their camp.
